She grew up with three siblings - with two sisters and a brother. She regularly practiced Hungarian to maintain her proficiency. Bruckner grew up in Hollywood, California. She had a Hungarian mother and a Russian father. The couple divorced. The paternal grandfather of Bruckner who was German has passed away. They came into contact in Hungary.
