Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American actor, most famous for his role as the star of the well-known television series Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His passion for acting started during his college years. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in the television and film industry, but the small screen characters which gained him fame as well as a large audience. This is not surprising since the actor has managed to grab people's attention with his characters on both side of the law. He played the role of a serial killer in his first television project and later played the role of an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The most striking of his facial features is said to have been the piercing blue eyes that have been instrumental in his portrayal of characters that have a rough, charismatic look. The actor was featured on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
